Stuart Broad May Miss IPL 5 2012
Stuart Broad seems to be the unlucky guy when comparing IPL. Last year in 2011 he missed the twenty 20 bonanza due to injury and this time too he is on the verge of losing his place in the Kings XI Punjab squad.

In the ongoing test series between Srilanka and England , Stuart Broad had been replaced from the England squad and have flown back home to nurse the injury.He was supposed to fly with Kevin Pieterson to India after the Srilankan series.Kevin Pieterson will represent Delhi Daredevils in this years IPL.


Stuart Broad have raised hopes of him plying the IPL stating that the injury is nothing serious and will be back faster.


Kings XI Punjab would be pinning their hopes on Broad after they had a disastrous IPL auction in 2012. The purchases made by Punjab this year includes the wily Pakistan all rounder Azhar Mahmood and Ramesh Powar.They were also involved in the purchases of Rajagopal Sathish and Harmeet Singh through IPL trading window.


With the participation of Stuart Broad a concern, the bowling strengths would totally depend on the Australian fast bowler Ryan Harris and Praveen Kumar.
