Kevin Pieterson, Delhi Daredevils and Indian Premier League
Kevin Pieterson Second Century holder in IPL 2012
Kevin pieterson was one of the high profile buys of Delhi Daredevils in IPL 5 2012 along with the reliable Mahela Jayawardane and the versatile Ross Taylor. Coming off after a wonderful srilankan tour where he had played some serious knocks, Kevin Pieterson just had to continue his form in IPL.
With the strong batting line up that Delhi Daredevils has, Kevin Pieterson had to perform to maintain his place in the squad which might have been in the stakes when David Warner comes up after the Australia - Westindies tour. Just into his second week into the tournament Kevin Pieterson played a wonderful innings against Deccan Chargers to take Delhi home chasing down a competitive 157 posted by Deccan Chargers.
