Chris Gayle - Is he the most destructive twenty 20 player in the history of IPL ?

Chris Gayle is one player who had changed the entire scenario of IPL in 2011 edition. Coming up for RCB after injury and humiliationof being discarded in the auctions, Chris Gayle proved every one wrong with some class shots and dedication to take the team to winning ways alone.

In fact it was he who made sure that RCB reach the level of success they have had in IPL 4.

In IPL 5, the situation seems almost same. But Gayle do not seem to have the same sublime form he had in 2011 now. Of course he is destructive if he gets going, but he is mpre cautious now andplays his shots sensibly. He does not swings his bat at everything. He waits and picks up those balls which are in his areas and dispatches it to the seats in the gallery.

This change in approach of Gayle has ensured that he is much more reliable and consistent as a batsman. At the same time the killer instinct that Gayle has had is lost. He does not win matches alone. He needs ample support from his team mates to ensure that.
