Daredevils were going from a position of power to super power. The team had got
enormous boost to its batting display with the coming of players like Mahela
Jayawardene, Kevin Pieterson and Andre Russell. Add to this the new addition
Ross Taylor. The team Delhi Daredevils had become undoubtedly one of the most
powerful teams in the IPL 5.
Ross Taylor had changed from Rajasthan Royals where he had played the IPL 4. He was associated with Royal challengers Bangalore for 3 editions of IPL before (IPL 1, IPL 2, and IPL 3). So geographically speaking Ross Taylor had travelled from New Zealand to Bangalore and then to Rajasthan and now farther north to Delhi.

- David Warner and Mathew Wade will not be available for 10 matches die to the Australia - west indies series which will end only on April 27.
- Varun Aaron may miss some matches of IPL due to injury concerns.
So it seems like Delhi daredevils is not the strongest side in IPL now. with some of the best players struggling with injury, will Delhi come out hard this year?
