Take the fact that there is no genuine spinner in the squad. Considering the fact the Indian pitches greatly helps spinners one spinner is a definite need in any team.

So the chances that Delhi would go for a local spinner. Another possibility is in Delhi going to beef up the batting with further additions like Venugopal Rao or Yogesh Nagar or Unmukt Chand or Pawan Negi.

If the spin need arises Delhi also have the option of bringing in the South African all rounder role of Vander Merwe in the place of the West Indian big hitter André Russell.
