Pune warriors is the one team that entered the IPL scenario along with Kochi tuskers Kerala from IPL 4. The team could not perform well in the IPL 4 as they were still learning the tricks of the trade. But this time Pune Warriors will be a team to look out for.

With their IPL 4 captain Yuvraj Singh recuperating with cancer, the reigns of leading the side had been given to the much experienced Saurav Ganguly. In fact in the team he has  quite a role to play , considering the fact that Pune warriors have to be managed as a team that coordinates well on the field.
